Robert in Tucson

Posted by Teddy Osuch on January 19, 2012

I went to Tucson and saw Robert last night.  It was a great experience.  Its as if there were no effects from a twenty-five year separation.  I worry about his health.  He is clearly a good person.  I am going back this weekend during the day and will take photos.

Very good. I would be interested in those pics. It has been about 20 years since I last saw him. Tell him hi from me. My stories about my young man days usually have one or two Bob Clark tales.

Yes, he is sick but I know his insurance is not the best, if he even has any. Lisa noticed when she was there in Sept. I saw him there 4 yrs ago, and he was ok then. But, I guess he has spent lots of time in the sun over his years there. Hard not to. As for pictures, good luck with that. Lisa snuck a few but he doesn’t know even now.

I’d love to see the photos Lisa took! What’s with his health, more than just the psoriasis? This is not what I wanted to hear!!

April’s almost over, and I know you (Ted) just returned from Tucson (again), and I’m just looking at this blog for the first time 😉 Jeff and I saw Bob in Tucson, when Gretchen was still there (don’t ask me the year !), and then we visited again briefly, some few years after that. Jeff was in Tucson for the All Souls Day parade/celebration (Dias dos Muertas), last fall (2011), and saw Bob at that time as well.
I was looking at your old (35 yrs ago?) pics when you were here last Ted and saw shots of everyone, including Bob when he had dark hair and a dark ‘stache and in side profile. Looked kinda like this other ‘Bob’: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Goulet

Ted, I really think you need to get one of those teeny, tiny, digital ‘spy’ cameras (and think of the space it would save in your gear bag), to take numerous and various ‘candid’ shots of everyone along your trip. The perfect solution to camera-shy subjects and blogs that contain lots of landscape shots, but no pics of people you haven’t seen in 25 plus years. Amen.
